for me it's kinda like 1. nobody cared about how fucked solo was with val & l3 so I don't care about anything anymore & 2. tros fed me unlimited chaotic bullshit power and that's all I want from star wars

like it's okay to not be happy with how a movie goes but thinking you're objectively right about your ideal version of a movie is just like, rude. I accept that people apparently love solo even though I cannot fathom it! don't treat ppl like idiots because their priorities differ

I think just like, yes it was extremely obvious they were making it up as they went the whole time and that was part of what made the ride so fun for me! I get why people don't like it, but, yeah this entire trilogy was extremely my shit. no shit there was no map and I LOVE that

trying to tread the line between "I love this trilogy BECAUSE it's such a chaotic mess", "this trilogy basically did everything I said it would/wanted it to do", and "yes it is extremely fair to critique these movies for being complete messes"
