I remember coming home to all of our stuff in the rain, living in homeless shelters, eating at soup kitchens, and all of the moments that we don't share when it's over.
It's a fear you can't fathom.

Ask anyone who managed to escape it. They'll tell you. No matter what, there is an underlying fear that it will all get taken away.
It prevents you from enjoying it fully.
Encountering it again? You could never understand the effect.
