I have concerns about #Crew96 's actual strength. Their record seems impressive, but when viewed alongside their opponents cracks appear.

Of CLB's 23 pts, only 7 were earned against teams that currently sit in the top half of the SS standings. 10 came from teams in the bottom 3.
They play Chicago (the second worst team in the league) again in 4 days, so that should be another easy 3 pts.

I'm curious to see how they fare when facing more talented opposition on a more consistent basis, which is what we should expect the remaining schedule to look like.
I won't be surprised if the remaining 12 games consists solely of intra-conference match-ups.

That said, 6 of the current top 10 teams are from the East, 4 of which (TFC, Orlando, Minn, and NE) #Crew96 has yet to face. Philly is the 5th.
They won't face off against Cincy, Chicago or NYCFC again this year.

That means there are 10 teams remaining for which them to get paired against over the course of a dozen games.

That's assuming that they can successfully figure out a way to reintegrate the Canadian teams.
Certainly the games against Miami, Nashville, and DC are enticing, but it's games against those stronger teams we should be hoping for, imo.

It's better that CLB stumble now against strong opponents & solve their issues, than in a postseason elimination game.
