This decade is the last decade we have to halt and reverse the effects of climate forcing. During this decade we will see the harbingers of the catastrophe to follow - islands and coasts washed away, record temperatures, intensified weather events, and so on. It's a warning.
By 2030, all of these catastrophes will begin to become normal, punctuated by even more disaster. 1/3rd of the Earth will become uninhabitable by 2100. Billions will be forced to migrate, billions will die.

The *most important thing* to understand about climate forcing is that *capitalism cannot solve it.* Toxification of the Earth for free means enormous profits to the plutocrats, who control (in terms of the current paradigm) almost all productive wealth in the world.
In order to halt climate forcing, an entirely new production cost model must be *imposed,* by force if necessary. If left to capitalist, dumping carbon and other toxicity into the environment is an externality they will never pay for. Hell, they don't even pay *taxes.*
That is, the intrasigence of the ruling capitalist class, their immorality, their avarice and greed, their selfishness and ravenous quest for profit . . . is going to kill us all, even them.

They can't stop themselves. But we can.

How?
/
Debt and Labor strikes.
Occupation of key infrastructure.
Organization, discipline and action aimed at their key weaknesses.
Deliberate movement against capitalism itself. Uncompromising.
/
We have nothing to lose. Literally. If we don't act, everything is gone.

It should be obvious as well that climate catastrophe will transform not just the environment. So long as the capitalists are in power, the prospect of billions dying from climate forcing will cheapen life itself - as well as the attendant "rights" you believe you have.
The prospect of systematic, state-sponsored, direct genocide by the capitalist class will be the inevitable result of this cheapening. We will become literal slaves, worked to death or in toxic conditions until we die from it. Capitalism will revert to its essential nature.
Around the world, even now, the political choices for people have narrowed to choosing how fast the slide into fascism should be. Add an uncontrolled climate forcing to this mixture, and the choice will further devolve to: Full genocide or (temporarily) half-genocide?
