My 10 Favorite Rappers ; a thread

Basically gonna give a short description from each,, my favorite project that they have released,, and my favorite song in their discography.

10. Freddie Gibbs

Freddie has really jumped high on my list recently. Both Bandana and Piñata are some of my favorite rap albums ever. I really love Freddie for his rapping ability and dope flow.

9. Brockhampton

I really dove deep into this group just around a year ago and fell in love with their music. They really serenade with me for their personalities, I really feel like I could be friends with these guys.

8. Travis Scott

Travis is one trap artist that has always struck with me heavy. His music is super quality, and you can just tell how much work he puts into his albums. Rodeo is easily my favorite trap album oat.

7. MF DOOM

I honestly didn’t even know who DOOM was 6 months ago. He inspired many of my favorite rappers. One of the most creative minds that is still in the genre today.

6. Mac Miller

Mac had one of the craziest artistic developments that I have ever seen. I feel like even if you didn’t like his music you could still love him as a person. RIP to a GOAT

5. Kendrick Lamar

Kendrick has really created some masterpieces over the years. Projects that I feel will stick with the genre forever. Arguably the best rapper from the current generation.

4. J. Cole

Cole’s strongsuit has always been his pen game. Feel like you can catch new bars with his music basically every time you listen to it. Not to mention he has great flow and storytelling too.

3. Tyler, the Creator

I truly believe that Tyler is a master in his craft. Similar like Mac, he had a very interesting artistic development. Love Tyler for his creative mind and funny personality.

2. Kanye West

I believe to be the greatest artist oat. There literally isn’t another Kanye,, or anyone even close. Another very creative artist who was a catalyst for many other rappers as well.

1. Drake

Obviously not a surprise to you guys. Drake has always been an artist I’ve loved since I first heard him. I thank him for introducing me to the genre of rap at a young age. I truly believe that he will always be my favorite artist.
