Librarians might make a comeback in a big way in this New Knowledge era.
And historians.

I can see a huge demand for both effective navigation of and curation of knowledge and information.

Once the technologies are established. The work will be in creating data sets. Translating knowledge into data. Resurrecting the past.

Archaeology of Thought.
I want an economy around knowledge organization, acquisition and curation.

System builders — Build HOW we organize information

Knowledge identifiers — Find gaps in the *knowledge set* and flag them for development

Knowledge curators — Take the known gaps and fill them
The ultimate goal is to detect and define all there is that we know or that could be known.

Continuous detection of and resolution of societal learning objectives.

Laying tracks to accelerate the progress for those who follow.
This mass public knowledge set is the full *public wiki*

An organized, and navigable record of all that we collectively know.
Then the goal of the individual’s learning journey would be to both learn and push the boundaries of the *public wiki* through the progressive development of their own *private wikis*
Assessments and other sensory tools could guide the learner to *fill in* their private wiki.

This could be informed by individually set learning objectives, life goals, and ambitions.

The educational institutions and learning economy could support this journey.
