ok hot take: i think if sakuatsu got married they actually would get along so well
like everyone always assumes theyd fight a lot or never last more than a few years but honestly, its SOOOO unbelievably relieving to get to be your complete asshole self without worrying if youre constantly hurting feelings
they have a lot of different idiosyncrasies but i feel like they match up so well habit wise that theyd just never break up. once theyre in it theyre in it for life
youve got “i always see things through til the end” sakusa and “hungry to improve and master” atsumu. even when they fight, they always end up ‘begrudgingly’ coming back to each other mere hours layer... they know they couldnt stay away even if they tried
i just think its really suffocating to have to mince words so you dont cause problems with the people around you, but sakusa and atsumu BOTH know the meaning behind their shitty communication styles and i just think they are such a great pair.
