We can start pitying Bernie now.

It must be dawning on him that this was never about him.

His giant ego and delusions of grandeur let him believe he was this great, visionary leader who enlightened a generation of kids with his bold ideas

That's not what happened.

There's nothing special about Bernie Sanders. He's a mediocre back-bencher who has never accomplished anything in his life.

He gives a good speech.

He got all these kids hopped up on righteous indignation and populist fury.

That was the draw.

He paid lip service to policies, cherry-picked to appeal to the young and the selfish.

He taught them some rhetorical flourishes and snappy, simplistic comebacks, but the issues themselves were irrelevant.

This was about Revolution! Together they would Stick it to the Man!

Bernie was just the drug dealer.

Now that he isn't feed them a steady supply of outrage and propaganda, they have no use for him anymore.

They aren't loyal to him, they've moved on and found other ways to get their fix.

You know it's killing him to realize his "movement" was never about him at all.

Also they're sending their $27's to other people now.

And he will never be President.

I hope he cries twice, as the kids say.
