So it would appear that lockdown 2.0 is on it's way, I have a few thoughts and not all about just the dreaded Covid.

Vaguely deemed to be right wing while taking a softly softly approach to Maoists smashing windows and upending statues?
2/ why are restrictions based upon case numbers rather than hospitalisations and deaths, if this is about protecting lives surely the latter must be paramount

3/ so the government used tax payers money to subsidise eating out and encourage the hospitality trade to reopen only to close everything down only a few weeks later.... Why?

He's being advised by academics who see the crippling of capitalism as a greater target than beating a disease and are deliberately using infection figures instead of serious case numbers.
