This will be my first thread on twitter, but only because Trump's latest comments have burned me to my fucking core, and I'm sure made others feel quite hopeless. I grew up in a trailer park. Not a nice mobile home community, a rough trailer park. At age 7, I was saving kitties
from the trailer park heathens, trying to dump gasoline down their throats. I was a little firecracker, and protector of all things good. Trump's latest tweet announcing that "low income housing and projects will ruin the American dream" have disgusted me. I can't fathom how
helpless that makes those less fortunate feel. I can't imagine, as a struggling family, how it would feel to be demonized for not having enough money, by your own President, during a pandemic. Being poor is not a crime. Needing help is not a crime. The American Dream is not only
for the rich, it's for EVERYONE. The American Dream is having a shot at whatever you have your heart set on, no matter where you come from and no matter what type of house you live in. To take a dream away from someone, because of the house they live in or the amount of money
they have is reprehensible. To consider those people an actual threat to our country..is unfathomable. I invisioned my own American Dream from my 7x7 bedroom at the back of that trailer, and you best believe I fought like hell, worked my ass off, and achieved it. 20 years later,
I own a very successful home remodeling business ,a beautiful house, and my DREAM custom built truck. Never lose hope. Never let someone else put you down. Never let someone tell you what you can and cannot be. Do not let Donald fucking Trump make you feel unworthy. As cliché as
it sounds, you really can do anything you set your mind to, no matter what kind of house you live in. When I was younger, I would tell myself "Sink, or swim..i'll swim", and I never stopped swimming until I crossed oceans. Fight like hell, because you deserve it.
