1. You may live with a woman born in the 1950s and you will be aware we are having a fight for justice. Women who have paid in to their pension to receive it at 60yrs of age. Women who didn’t have time to make adjustments to their personal pensions or circumstances
2.Women who had a very different economic history than guys born in the 1950s. Women who could not access work pensions because they worked part time and were barred from doing so. Working part time in low paid jobs to fit in with childcare.
3. Some employers made a full job into two part time jobs to wriggle out of paying pensions to women. This fight for justice is about the inequality of the lives of men and women born in the same decade.
4. Support your female relative or friend born in the 1950s as they have lost 6 years of pension payments and are probably worn out out by now and physically want to retire. The government have done this to 3.8 million women and they could do it to you.
