If I could offer one piece of advice to anyone doing teaching of any kind this fall it would be simple: Teach. Less.
1. You're probably teaching too much material already. Teach. Less. Better.
2. Your students are not capable of learning as much right now. The cognitive overhead of the world is drowning out their focus and mental energy.
3. You won't be able to keep up. Cut yourself a break.

* I stretched two hard weeks in one of my courses into four weeks.
* I'm dropping the amount of required homework by making harder exercises optional (students who are doing well can still challenge themselves)

* @skmorgane & I both dropped some days from courses and replaced them with AMAs where everyone shows up and asks any questions they want related to the topic of the course.
Unscheduled things will keep happening. Schools will close, people will get sick, protests will happen. Give you and your students the breathing room to work around this.
Teach. Less.
Or, better yet, as @jmcin9 just suggested:
