We all fall short of God and sometimes daily so why do you believe your performance has bearing on your salvation when we know one sin is breaking God's Law and worthy of death?
You say you repent and that's good but repentance isn't the Gospel and without Christ it's nothing.
Without Christ we can repent yet our faith is in vain because we're still enemies of God because of our iniquities.
The only way you and I have any righteousness is because of what Christ has done.
Any good work we do from repentance to serving God is all because of Him.
Lyfe, didn't you say before if you live in lawlessness you cannot inherit the kingdom of God?
Yes.The fact is because of what takes place at justification (the Holy Spirit indwelling us and changing hearts)those truly Born Again are not living their life in Christ to be lawless.
If we're truly Born Again we live for the Lord and we may occasionally slip up, fall into sin, but God in His goodness always leads us back to repentance. I speak this not simply from head knowledge but I've experienced it myself.
God is more faithful than many credit Him to be.
