I'm tired, tired of waking up to more mass murders. From knife wielding, bomb making, and vehicle ramming lunatics, to innocent girls being groomed and raped. I'm tired of hearing a mother cry daily, years after the event, and seeing families destroyed forever. I'm tired.

I'm tired of seeing lives lost that haven't even started, children that will have to grow up without a parent, young girls scared and broken from years of abuse. I'm tired of politicians silence, the medias deflection, and institutional cover-ups. I'm tired.

I'm tired of perpetrators being afforded greater human rights than innocents and victims. I'm tired of illegal activities being rewarded, while law abiding citizens overlooked. I'm tired of people defending the indefensible. You're tired, we're tired, I'm tired.
