@tezos $XTZ is one of the first projects in a while where I'm confident the protocol will keep evolving even without the core foundation team. It has achieved decentralization at one of the toughest layers to actually decentralize.
Day 2

@cosmos $ATOM has organically attracted the most developers and project teams to its ecosystem. You'd be surprised by how widely @Tendermint_Core and @cosmossdk are used.
Day 3

@Polkadot $DOT executes new ideas quickly (look at @kusamanetwork) and consistently onboards devs from other protocols. They've been the most successful in gaining traction from both Eastern and Western hemispheres.
Day 4

@Cardano @ADA is building on hard mode at their own pace with conviction. It has a large loyal community that appreciates this and supports their efforts every step of the way (look at the # of staking pools).
