I've been staying in Jersey City recently and maybe this is just because San Francisco's absolute garbage level governance lowered my bar, but so far I've been quite impressed at the land-use/urbanism here
Walked out of a subway station and this image immediately hit me

Great job @JerseyCity, keep the housing coming 👌
A block away: half the road is closed to cars to make a space where pedestrians can sit. I don't know if this was just created due to Covid, but if so, can you make this permanent @StevenFulop pretty please?

(Out of frame on the right: a protected bike lane)
Another subway stop

Scenario: A developer wants to build a high rise next to transit where there's currently only low and mid rises

SF: Noooo you can't let more people live low-carbon lifestyles, that would ruin the neighborhood characterino!!!

JC: Haha construction goes brrr
You really love to see it
