SEXUAL HARASSMENT IS NORMALISED!

President Rodrigo Duterte have influenced many citizens for many years. some things he said include:

because of that, MANY citizens of the Philippines think that being sexual harrassed is normal. this also implied that being ‘pretty’ (something a girl can’t control) is dangerous. The worrying issue here is that the older generations are also bring influenced by his words

here are some girls being sexually harassed by their own family members and are NOT being able to speak up because their parents believed it was normal AND they fear of the impacts by the government.

sex trafficking, rape, sexual harassment against women are one of the most highest rates of crime in the philippines. since it is SO normalised, their voices can’t be heard.

movements and resistance for justice have never been successful. the Armed Forces of PH have instead used the victimes for their own good

Eg. They committed genocide against intellectual property rights, Extrajudicial killings, torture, rape AND MANY MORE-

they are HELPLESS because whenever they speak up, the armed forces do such things. Citizens are afraid to surface this in social media due to fear of what the government may do to them. they live in fear EVERY SINGLE DAY to save themselves from threats like being sexual harassed
