It’s a big (little) day at The Rosenbach! One of our latest acquisitions is this miniature model of John Fleming’s library and gallery in NYC.

Fleming was hired by the Rosenbach brothers as a clerk in his teens, advanced through the company, and later became vice president of our founders’ business. He eventually purchased a large portion of the company’s stock and took over after Dr. Rosenbach’s death.

The #Rosenstaff is carefully installing it for visitors to see once we reopen. Our librarian is even cataloging each of the tiny bound books for our fine press collection! Penny for scale.
