Also, a scoop: if you're a man and you're invited on a panel, you can actually ask who else is invited and make sure there will be women in there before you say yes. 1/
If you say nothing at all & people end up calling out the manel you're on, assume your complicity through silence & commit to doing better. DON'T find excuses. DONT add insult to injury by acting defensive. Women are constantly dealing with male fragility, and it's exhausting 2/
