To any other person looking to redesign their home, I absolutely do not recommend Modsy. While the designs they sent matched our vision, purchasing furniture through them and having to deal with their horrible customer service has made this a nightmare @Modsy
There is no communication when items ship and when items arrive damaged, good luck getting a refund or a replacement! One of our table lamps arrived damaged twice, with us finally accepting the third lamp even though it had minor damage.
But the worst part was, it takes them a week+ to send you a return label to move the damaged piece out of your home. A home where they know you bought a whole bunch of new furniture. Then we received a heavily damaged coffee table
That was supposed to have white glove delivery. I paid $100 for said white glove delivery. It came via FedEx with a smashed in corner. After several attempts to contact them, almost a month later, our replacement arrives... also damaged
Now, I understand furniture gets damaged. That’s not on Modsy. What IS on @modsy is that they have NO PHONES, so you cannot call customer service. They say you can live chat, but I’ve been “queue position:1” for close to an hour with no answer
And when you do live chat, they refuse to let you contact the furniture companies directly and are incredibly unhelpful. See below:
So here I am, stuck again with sending an email to the general customer help line, which often takes them days to respond, just to initiate a week+ long conversation to even attempt to remedy this issue
I hate being so salty about this, but I literally paid them thousands of dollars and get no communication from them. I’d much rather deal with them directly, but that’s basically impossible, so here we are.
