After Assistant Regional Security Officer Vincent Cooper asked a group of 30 Peace Corps volunteers to spy on Cubans & Venezuelans, the state department apologized & said it wouldn't happen again. In the book Blowing My Cover, Lindsay Moran Kegley discusses how the feds agreed to defer her start date by a year so she could complete the Fulbright scholarship in Bulgaria.
