I’m moving from queens and he’s moving away from the South Bronx - Parkchester here we come. Our adventure starts now! Had the best day at IKEA then we scored this urban outfitters couch for a third of the price. Can’t wait to share the cuteness.
Life comes full circle. I’m just an Italian girl from the Bronx again. So happy to live so close to nonna now!
Our first dinner at the crib. We haven’t brought over any furniture 😂
Our first DIY! We built a little IKEA hack cat bathroom with this cube bookcase. We still have to install their little privacy curtain and add a tiny rug for them to wipe their feet’s. We’re getting a more compact litter pan cause this one is just so huge for no reason.
The best $7 we spent at IKEA! She loves her little tunnel so much she flipped it over to use the little Pom Pom hanging toy as a pillow.
Our second DIY. All about trial and error. I wanted to build a bar and thought these shelves from IKEA would work. They didn’t. So we went to Home Depot, bought a big piece of wood, broke the table saw at my house trying to cut it, but got it! Fits perfect. Stay tuned!
A lil backsplash DIY w the babe. We ran out of mirrors to finish so had to order more. Came out SUPER cute tho.
The cute adult way of writing on the walls. $15 DIY 🥰
Stayed up all night working on this kitchen and it was so worth it. Covered our ugly ass countertops that didn’t even match?! Still have to cover the cabinets and waiting for my matching pots and cooking utensils :3
My beautiful queen watching the neighbors. Had to move a plant that she loves to eat so it can be safe and she can have more room to be nosy af
Our friend Henry came over. He’s a skater and photographer from Venezuela. He made a skate documentary featuring the political uprising in Venezuela that could win a Sundance award. I showed him the small amount of my zine collection I have unpacked and he loved them all.
Finished off our IKEA cat hack bathroom! Added a little curtain so they could have some privacy and a little rug so they can wipe their tiny feet’s after. 10/10 recommend - all together spent $50 to make this, found something similar to this online for $125 😭 the girls love it!
Kitchen is coming along so well. Almost done w the mirror backsplash, gonna cover the cabinets in this cute grey, and we finally got the full length bar up!!!!!!
We started the bathroom! These tiles are stick adhesive and completely removable - a good option when your rental apartment has old broken tiles like ours did. Super easy to put down and can really transform a space!
We’re building a closet today!
