Why it is not enough to be anti-abortion

What do Adolf Hitler, Nicolae Ceaușescu, and Michael Corleone have in common? All were strong men and all opposed abortion... for certain people.
Hitler outlawed abortion in order to build Germany’s population of Aryans

The dictator Ceausescu outlawed abortion in order to build the population of Romania

Michael Corleone beat up and banished his wife when she admitted having an abortion
Of course, Hitler did not mind killing 6 million Jews and other targeted populations. Abortion was legal for them. He and Ceausescu did not ban abortion because they had any belief in the sanctity of human life as made in the image of God.
Corleone, a fictional character in the movie Godfather II, also was only interested in his family’s power and social standing. He did not mind murdering his enemies. They were only thinking of their own power and legacy. None had any fear or respect for God.
None were pro-life. Being anti-abortion can be a tool in the hands of ruthless people who have no regard for God or the sanctity of human life, no concern that all men bear God’s image equally.
We have to start with the basis that all people deserve protection--including (or especially) people who are marginalized in any way. This is why it is not enough to be anti-abortion.
What if Black Lives Matter opposed abortion for black people but not for others, should they be welcomed into the pro-life movement?
