Time as an assistant manager under Sir Bobby:

His time under Sir Bobby certainly aided in his development as a manager, their contrasting styles complemented each other. Sir Bobby often relied on Jose to plan practice sessions and help players thru tactical advice and analysis
Time as an assistant manager under LVG:

Another key figure in Jose's development as a manager. Van gaal trusted Jose enough to develop his own independent coaching style and entrusted him with the coaching duties of Barcelona B. LVG also let him take charge of the team at times
Benfica spell:

His time there was short, due to his disagreements with the new club president Manuel Vilarinho, with a record of 6 wins, 3 draws and 2 losses in 11 games. 54.55 win%

He left the club in December 2000 and never looked back
União de Leiria:

He joined minnows União de Leiria in July 2001 and quickly made the team hard to beat, going unbeaten from November of that year to January 2002, losing only 4 games in 20. This caught the attention of struggling Porto and he joined the club 3 days later
Stability:

Porto, when jose joined was struggling in 5th, eliminated from the Portugese cup and also finished last in their UCL group. Jose stabilised and guided the team to third place that year after a strong 15-game run (including 11 wins)
At Porto, Jose engaged with the idea of "periodisation" (Integrates tactical and physical, based around specific situations) worked on fitness, technique and tactics together to solve many issues at once, ensuring peak physical and mental condition to prepare for games
Golden era at Porto

From 02-04, Jose's Porto swept all before them, winning 6 trophies and breaking the record pts total (86), including 1 Europa League and 1 Champions League, improving most or ALL of his players. No club from outside Europe's top 5 leagues is has done this yet
Chelsea (04-08):

Jose revolutionized Chelsea, helping them to secure their first title in 50 years, setting records, including the most pts ever achieved in the Premier League then (95) and the fewest goals conceded (15). Winning 5 trophies in 3.5 years, laying the foundations
Inter (08-10):

Jose's time at Inter was an overwhelming success, winning 5 trophies, including another UCL (Last Italian football team to do so) Winning 67 in 108 games, only losing 15 in 2 years. 1 of the best Italian teams in history
Madrid (10-13)

His team at Madrid was 1 of, if not the best team in football history, certainly the best team in La Liga history for a single season ( 32 wins and only 2 losses, with 121 gf and 32 gc and 100 pts)

He won 3 trophies in 3 years, having a win % of 71.91
Return to Chelsea:

Despite leaving the club on bad terms, Jose's return to Chelsea was also a success, winning 2 trophies in 3 seasons, winning Chelsea's first title in 5 years while winning a double that season as well
Spell at United:

His time at Man United was an underrated spell, improving the club significantly from LVG's era, increasing United's points tally from 66 points to 69 points and eventually 81 points, which was United's highest pts tally since Fergie, winning 2 trophies as well.
Currently at Spurs:

Jose has done well at Spurs so far, massively improving them from 14th to 6th, winning more games than every other club bar Man City and Liverpool, gaining more points than every other club bar City, Liverpool and Man United as well
This is a list of his individual awards:
This is a list of records that he has broken:

Youngest manager to reach 100 UCL games (49 yrs 12 days)
Most games unbeaten at home in the PL (77)
Fewest gc in a PL season (15)
Longest unbeaten home run by a manager (9 yrs)
Most UCL titles with different clubs (2)
Managing Talents from all over the world, he has improved most of them, having good relationships with most of them. Here are some quotes and stories from his former players:
