We know there were at least two “protestors” chasing Rittenhouse armed with handguns one of which was Gaige Grosskreutz . Both either shot at him or attempted to shoot him.
This is Gaige Grosskreutz who was armed with a handgun. Gaige was circling the backside of the armed citizens. He was with the group that attacked Rittenhouse.

You can see in the video that Joseph Rosenbaum (deceased) was the one pushing the dumpster that was lit on fire towards the gas station.
