Houseki no kuni : feels sad , lonely and comfortable

There always have been something that fascinated me about the Land in HnK.
The wide green fields , the school in the middle of nowhere, the gems standing alone in the middle of the wide field and their sensei guiding them all .

There are some panels when you see the characters alone
wondering in what seems like an endless field.
Doing their duty.
looking out for the moon people.

When Phos loses Antarcticite you find him strong yet tired and lonely .
Never able to rest never able to sleep but , He is just standing there alone fighting .

He blames himself for what happened to Antarcticite.

He cries alone.

Unable to sleep he sees Antarcticite .

You can feel his loneliness in this page .
He stands alone waiting for the moon people,gazing to the endless void, waiting for Antarcticite .

Sensei tells him to get some rest but still he isn't able to rest.

When phos lost his head and we discover that he was sleeping for a 100 year .
You feel like Ghost was put in the same situation like when Phos lost Antarcticite .
And you feel the loneliness in his eyes .

All of this made me for some reason feel
sad , lonely and comfortable
