Nazi Germany could never even have BEGUN world war 2 without Soviet and US help. (more US, than soviet, but still considerable soviet resources and raw materials)

The nazis wouldn't even have taken power without US corporate help...

Let's start with the US help for the nazis:

Before we even get into how the US helped the Nazis arm themselves. I think it's worth pointing out that ironically a lot of US BANKs and financial institutions (and oligarchs) helped the nazis attain power.

Special mention goes to Henry Ford who not only was Hitler first foreign backer, but actually received a medal for his contributions to the Nazi party.

It would be ABSOLUTELY CATEGORICALLY IMPOSSIBLE for the nazis to wage war without IG Farben,and IG Farben was funded by US banks

THE US WAR DEPARTMENT ITSELF ADMITTED THIS.

(The US tried to say they're corporations "accidentally" did this but it wasn't.)

If you look at the statistics of production:

Literally impossible without them. All the armaments, even the poison gas used to do the holocaust was produced by IG Farben.

Without the rubber and the oil. There would be NO WAR. There would be nothing to DO THE WAR WITH.

You can consider all these corporations aided and abetted "A WAR OF AGGRESSION"

and nothing happened to any of them...

But generally very thorough on the corporate interests funding and supporting the Nazis... and their war

All these financial institutions supporting Hitler (which can I repeat how hilariously ironic that is), probably explains this gem of a quote:

On the Soviet side of things it's mainly resources to be honest. They didn't actively build up Nazi Germany's war potential. But they did sell them resources

Resources that would be used to Invade the USSR ironically:

And why war was basically impossible to win for the Nazis.

In fact if the USSR had not traded at all with the Nazis. The MONTH OF THE INVASION ITSELF the nazis would have run out of critical resources such as grain and rubber:

I can't stress enough how important these resources were for the Nazi war effort, and even with Romanian oil... basically impossible for them to refine the oil fast enough

And even IG Farben (which produced synthetic oil through coal) couldn't produce it fast enough...

In conclusion to this mega thread:

US corporations put the nazis in power and helped them have a military capabilities to wage war

And the USSR helped the nazis in supplying them with critical war resources that were used against them

Nazi aggression would be impossible
