So this is the time to drop my thoughts about tomorrow's game just like I did vs Lyon.

I think some might need to hear this.
First let's consider this. How many players from Chelsea enters Bayern's Xl? none? 1?

How many players from Barça enters Bayern Xl? Messi and De Jong?

From Lyon? probably none, maybe 1

From PSG? Neymar, Mbappe and who else? Perhaps Verrati but that's it
So where am I going with this? We have had a better squad against every team we have faced so far. That's very rare these days. And that has been reflected on the score sheet. Bayern fans being worried about our high line and defense because of what?
Because some random pundit that knows nothing about our team or random people on Twitter says Mbappe, Neymar and Di María will eat out defense alive? lmao first of all we the fans that have watched every single Bayern game knows that that extreme highline is not the norm with us.
And second, yeah PSG have tremendous players in attack, they can easily win one on ones vs Boateng etc. But does that matter if we suffocate the people that are supposed to deliver those balls to them? Cause that's what Flick's high pressing system is all about uno
And beyond the system, you need to look at the personnel in the field. Bayern and PSG have great attacks, maybe on par with each other. But on the midfield and defense areas? you can't deny Bayern is head and shoulders above them.
Another thought. People are forgetting the fact that most of our attacks are oriented through the wings. Look from where almost all our goals vs Lyon, Chelsea and Barça came from... A pass from Perisic or Davies after overlapping the fullback or a cut in by Gnabry etc.
And who do they (PSG) have up there to stop those attacks? Kehrer and Bernat.

I'll say that again: KEHRER and BERNAT.

So you're paring PSG's biggest liabilities with Bayern's biggest strength and I personally love those matchups.
Now let's analyze some numbers:

- Bayern averages 3,3 goals per match (!!!!)
- Bayern averages 0,7 goals conceded per match

This is one of our best defenses (and attacks obviously) since 2013 and you worrying about speed and counter?
Davies might be football's fastest player and we now have Alaba at CB who is very fast as well. We were obliterated vs Real Madrid, vs Barcelona in recent years because we had slow pairings as Boateng AND Hümmels, Benatia as our CBs. This is not the case...
So yeah we have the better team. We play the better football, but there's something I learned since 2012 and it's that not always the better team and the team that plays better wins the game... why? because shit can happen...
Am I writing off PSG? no, not at all. They have word class footballers, they have a good coach. A great goalkeeper etc. And the game starts 0-0. And most importantly who says that an individual error, bad finishing, a stupid red card or a penalty given cannot ruin the game for us
As I said before, shit happens. All of this is nice and all and looks perfect on paper. But in reality it not always turns out like it's supposed to.

We should win on Sunday, there should be no excuses, but we can't deny we need God to deliver the good luck we've been denied
In the past. And that's why some Bayern fans are really afraid and stressed. Because we have bottled this whole tournament far too many times and it sucks...

So I'll end this with a prayer. I don't care if you find this ridiculous.
Please God, you know that we have travelled far since the start of this season. You know we have a squad full of players that deserves this trophy more than anyone. Please give us a fair match tomorrow and don't let us commit those mistakes that have costed us the title before.
Amen
