Trump derangement syndrome is real and has sadly afflicted many, but culture war derangement syndrome is equally real. I am as anti-woke as anyone, but there are other issues that matter, especially in the short-term: the pandemic, healthcare, climate change, the economy.
It's also strategically unsound to think that a vote for Trump is a vote against wokeness. Has anyone done more to empower woke capitalism? What do you think is going to happen over the next four years?
The election of Trump led to an immediate increase in wokism. The data are undeniable:
I want to be clear, I'm not advocating voting Biden. That's a personal decision--I respect people who vote their conscience. But, we should all make our decisions rationally and intentionally. Woke capitalism is not going away regardless.
