Something about seeing White NBA media folks pander to the Woke audience really doesn’t sit right with me. https://twitter.com/rebeccahaarlow/status/1296923005873004544
Could any of them question / be critical of the #BLM message if they wanted to be? They’d be shut out of a career, let alone the bubble — in addition to the attacks from Twitter / IG mobs of sheep. If they wanna work for/around the NBA, they’re handcuffed.
I respect the fact that in some jobs you have to play the game (whether you want to or not), but I can’t trust their social media righteousness.
If you work for / around / in the NBA, you CAN’T say whatever you want re race relations / police / justice.

Thus, we have no idea who’s saying what they really feel vs who’s saying what they have to say to secure their job position / popularity / followers / access to super-Woke players who wouldn’t talk to you if you disagreed w them.
Sports journalists used to be backed by newspapers who paid them. You got paid for objectivity and we’re judged by editors.
Now you’re judged by social media + the fans of the players you cover. Be too critical or ask the wrong question, you’re done in the game.

This is not to say that every reporter (or NBA player) is fronting. It’s that it’s nearly statistically impossible that every media person + NBA Bubble player is 100% on-board with such a controversial subject that BLACK people don’t even agree on.
