I’m trying not to be insensitive but there is something quite distasteful about people feeling that they have this “right” to a foreign holiday and then getting cross due to pandemic lockdown rules

I know that the short notice quarantine changes are annoying but this is a global pandemic, emphasis on global.
Unprecedented and things are in flux.

Why can’t we just sit down in the UK, get our holiday refunds and hope for the best next year.

People talking about foreign holidays like it’s a human right makes me feel so uncomfortable.

One person on the news was like “I have to tell my child why they can’t start school at the same time as their friends due to quarrentine from holidays”

I’m like “excuse me”

No shade but ya took the risk.

Maybe im insensitive but the class privilege doesn’t come across well

I know people want a break, I know people have spent money &feel cheated &messed around by our government BUT the facts are, we are in the grips of a global pandemic that is killing folk left right & center.
