6 years ago I started my first business.

I combined what I love and what I'm good at:
• I love sports
• I understand statistics

I analyzed data and wrote blog articles predicting sports events.

[THREAD]
I went on Facebook to share my stuff.
• Joined sports groups
• Created a page

People became interested in my opinion about games. Especially on weekends. German soccer.

I created my own community. People helping each other.
• Providing data
• Discussing soccer and NBA
In one year our community grew to 16.000 people. Everybody obsessed with sports. Mainly soccer.

People started DMing me. They offered to pay for my predictions. I didn't take money.

That was when I asked myself
how to monetize my content.
Due to that, today I have:
• thousands of people in an e-mail list
• an affiliate income stream
• tons of new friends with the same hobby

Pursue what
• you love
• you're good at
• people are longing for

and everything will fall into place.
