It was interesting to see all the people on my timeline doing this type of bingos if you know how many anime titles I've watched. I've decided to do the similar thing with some limitations. For a few days I was working on the order of my favorite male protagonists. That's it.
Through Subaru as a protagonist nr #1 to Tatsumi as a protagonist #16. If you haven't reached the TOP16 and I've watched your anime, you must be really a shit protagonist for me. The list will be updated every once in a while. Now I want to talk about some positions on the list..
#4 Kazuma. I don't like him. His first impressions for me were not so good... But, he's really a good protagonist of Konosuba. He's a scumbag, but well made scumbag. I understand his role and I appreciate it. I don't like him. I don't like characters like him. However, he's good.
#9 Saitama. One Punch Man is a good anime. But it's hard to compare these characters to other anime characters. Their role are perfect for OPM. But it's hard to compare these characters to o(...). 9th place for Saitama is max what I can give. I just appreciate more Bam or Miyuki.
#10 Ainz. The Bone Daddy is a good protagonist-villain. I really appreciate how his outside and inside nature was shown to us. Over the course of time, he learned how to be a leader (not to pretend a leader) and ultimately lost his humanity. Maybe someday I'll buy a LN with him.
#13 Naofumi. I've dropped Shield Hero quickly. Though whether I like or not, he was a member of Isekai Quartet cast. He doesn't look as bad as the story. The same looked when I watched the highlights of SH. The story is bad, but I can't hate all the author's ideas for it.
#15 Sora. No Game No Life was the first anime I've watched. Thanks to the further experience, I know that he isn't the best type of protagonist. I don't much like his character, but there's something distinctive about him.
