1) "Things aren't going away permanently" It doesn't matter. This is the sequel to the "10 year game" that was supposed to be a "10 year game" and now the only way that can happen is "we have to take away stuff to give you new stuff." If you haven't interpreted the sarcasm /1
it's dripping from my lips as I all but snarl. Don't get me wrong, seasonal content that comes and goes can be (stress CAN) fun. But there's a difference between that and the content vault.

not getting that (at least not in the foreseeable, Bungie has mapped it out future). I'm going to say it ...WTF? They knew, or at least, know now, the framework, the infrastructure for Destiny2 can't support the kind of ongoing growth they want to give players, but instead /3
of building the frame they need for it they're going to use the content vault? There's a level of "banging a skull on a concrete wall" there.

increased recommended light levels is going to leave most of your old beloved weapons behind (we hates it precious!). Never was a revoker/recluse/telesto/luna/etc "RUN THE META!" player. Never will be. But I'll be damned if I didn't have 1000's of kills on every /5
weapon I found and loved, including multiple Better Devils. And now, before long, I won't be able to kill things in new content with those weapons. I've heard the "it'll help break the meta" arguments. But it won't, it's going to change the meta, that's all. /6

Anyway, to Paul's point. Is all this, ethical? Well, considering most gamers don't read the ToS or the EULA, you could say it's questionable. But reality is, it's their game, we were always just renting space in it, and they're /7

about to change the decor. Either buck up and let them, or move on.
I'm going to give Beyond Light a chance. For me part of that is taking some time away now. Because I'm pissed about a lot of things in this game I love. But if they can't wow me with this.../8

I did it with WoW. 28 toons. Raids. Friends.
When the game stopped being fun I just hung it up. I'd hate to do it with Destiny, but I think they're pushing that way.
