@ImRo45 is the 4th cricketer to be awarded the Rajiv Gandhi Khel Ratna Award, after: -

1998 - Sachin Tendulkar
2008 - MS Dhoni
2018 - Virat Kohli

Incidentally, all four have played 11 matches together for India, including some fairly significant ones

Jan 15, 2011: 2nd ODI v South Africa at Johannesburg.

India were shot out for 190, (Tsotsobe-4/22) as India lost their last 7 wickets for 40 runs.

Munaf Patel won the game for India with 4/29. India won by 1 run

- IND's 4th 1 run win in ODIs (and 2nd v SA in less than a year)
Feb 14, 2012: CB Series 2012

At Adelaide, IND restricted SL to 236/9.
Barely 10 months after their 109-run stand in the WC Final, Gambhir (91) & Dhoni (58*) stood tall, but India tied the match, with MSD sprinting a 3 off Malinga's last ball.

- IND's 5th tied ODI (1st v SL)
Mar 13, 2012: Asia Cup v SL

After losing Sachin early, @imVkohli & @GautamGambhir stitch together a 205-run stand for the 2nd wicket as India put on 304/3 at Dhaka.

Irfan Pathan (4/32), R Ashwin (3/39) * Vinay Kumar (3/55) bowl SL out, 50 short of the target.
Mar 18, 2012: Asia Cup v PAK

Pakistan managed a mammoth 329/6, but @imVkohli wasn't fazed.

In a harbinger of things to come, he slammed a monstrous 183 off 148 (22x4s & 1x6) as India won with 13 balls to spare.

- Kohli's top ODI score
- India's top ODI chase at the time!
Nov 6 - 8, 2013: 1st Test v WI, Kolkata

IND had two debutants and both did wonderfully: @ImRo45 scored a masterful 177 and @MdShami11 took 9/118 (still his Test best figures) as India thrashed WI by an Inns & 51 runs.

- Rohit's 177: Test best by any debutant batting 6 or below
Nov 14 - 16, 2013: 2nd Test v WI, Mumbai

@ImRo45 scored his 2nd Test ton in his 2nd innings as @sachin_rt played his 200th & Final Test.

Prgyan Ojha claimed his only Test 10-for (10/89) as Rohit was Man of the Series.

- India won the two Test series in 6 combined days of play
The 4 Khel Ratna awardees (SRT, Dhoni, Kohli & Rohit) played 11 matches across formats together from Jan 2011 till Nov 2013.

India's record
Won - 6
Lost - 4
Tied - 1

It's arguable that all 4 would make it to India's best ODI playing XI.

Truly a golden era of Indian batting!
