Arsenal fans disrespecting Wenger again, you all deserve nothing. Guarantee every single one of you support the club because of him, or a player/person he brought to the club.

I don’t understand why it has to be so extreme all the time, did Wenger underachieve with certain squads? Yes. Arsenal 98-06, should have won more PLs & a CL. Arsenal 2013-17 w/ prime Özil & Sanchez not winning a PL, is criminal. I recognise that.

Slandering Wenger is just boring though, whether you’re doing it to be controversial for clout or as bait. The man transformed the English game. Recruitment wise, he was the first to start bringing in foreign talents. Nutrition & training completely changed too.

He changed Arsenal from a relatively big club in England, like Villa, Leeds, Forrest. To a super-club & one of the T10 in world football. Recognised for having a distinct style of play, class on & off the pitch etc. Built our stadium, our training ground too.

Don’t get me wrong though, criticism of Wenger in some aspects is deserved. Just frustrating when the criticism turns into full-blown slander, & disrespect. Wenger can be the greatest manager in our history & have underachieved. Those statements aren’t mutually exclusive.

Something I forgot to mention, that @A1ZH4RY brought up. We have a clear adv. to this day in the French/Ligue 1 market. Players like Gabriel, Pépé, Auba all chose Arsenal & immediately talked about Wenger/Henry & how they loved watching Arsenal growing up.
