THREAD: Is hoisting Pakistani flag in AJ&K illegal?

Currently, AJK is being governed under AJK Interim Constitution 1974 the Art 7(3) of which states;
“No person or political party in AJK shall be permitted to propagate against or take part in activities prejudicial or detrimental to the ideology of the state's accession to Pak."

Therefore it is clear that propagating in favor of Pak, waving & hoisting its flag is absolutely legal according to the Constitution of AJK.On the other side, propagating anything against the ideology of state's accession to Pak or anything against Pak is against the law of AJK.

So, if the constitution of AJ&K is fully implemented, then all those who speak again this ideology will be prosecuted according to law.

And if someone has any problem with these laws, he/she can simply take part in elections (just like the way Maqbool Bhat did in 1970 and 1975) and amend this constitution by having 2/3rd majority in the Legislative Assembly of AJK.

For those who don't accept AJK's constitution since it is a disputed territory & hoisting & waving Pak, flag is against the spirit of UN Resolutions

Firstly, UN Resolutions never said that Pak can't hoist her flags in the area administered by her till this issue is resolved.

Similarly, UN has never questioned Pakistani flags in AJK. Secondly, it is not Pakistani government but the government of AJK (chosen by the people of AJK) that is hoisting these flags. It's more or less an expression of the will of the people of AJK.

Pak flag(be it waved/hoisted by the public or the chosen gov of AJK) represents the will & commitment of the ppl abt the final decision of the state which is very well in accordance with the spirit of the UN Resolutions that fully allow the ppl to accede to Pak as per their will.

But if someone waves the flags of or talks about an independent Kashmir, actually it is he (not those who talk about Pakistan) who is going against the spirit of the UN Resolutions. They should better discard their own flags and slogans instead of telling this to the govt of AJK.

Now, how could nationalists talk about the UN Resolutions to make us understand the disputed nature of AJK when they themselves completely reject those resolutions since they contain two options only?

For those who give reference of the article 257 of the constitution of Pak to tell that they ain't Pakistani citizens

AJK doesn't come under the jurisdiction of Pakistani laws. AJK has its own constitution which, as discussed above, fully allows the hoisting of Pak flags in AJK.

As far as the citizenship is concerned, every AJK-ite has a Pakistani ID Card & nationality & this is why he can travel across whole Pak without visa, can become a part of Pak Army, can buy property in Pak & use Pakistani Passport which is impossible without Pakistani citizenship

Lastly, the formation of AJK govt is the culmination of the struggle by MC based on the resolution of 19 July 1947. When more than 50k people fought against the Dogra troops for the sake of its independence which is one of the highest forms of expressing self-determination.

If someone thinks that a few dozen people can erase the love for Pakistan in our hearts, he should come out of this delusion.
