Now that I have watched the match back again and collected all of the packing data the final output makes for interesting reading. Once again packing is measured by taking a count of how many opposition players is bypassed by a pass. Essentially, the more players bypassed the
higher the value of the pass. Players also receive points for receiving passes that bypass opposition players.

The first thing to say is that there was a clear shift between this match and the one against Rangers. Against St Johnstone the focus was to progress the ball through
central areas. Against Rangers the main attempt to progress the ball came through the fullbacks.

In the next tweet in this thread I will start to share the data.
Firstly, lets look at the players who have bypassed opposition players with their passing. Ross McCrorie stood out with his ability to play line breaking passes from the defensive line. Interestingly, Funso Ojo was far more efficient than I initially thought.
Next, whch players received passes that broke the lines of the opposition. Scott Wright was the clear standout despite playing in an unfamiliar position but Lewis Ferguson also showed well to help the team to progress the ball, despite playing in two different positions.
Finally a look at all of the data together. Once again Ojo's data looks far better than expected. He was receiving well, the issue seems to be that he then struggled to connect the next pass.
