Bellanova are tyre kickers, in the same mould as The Bin Zayed Group who launched a non serious bid in May last year...
Why they do this...
They publicly declare interest, media attention comes their way. Their ‘bid’ fizzles out, but the footprint remains, and when Bellanova do unrelated business in the future and associates Google them, all the Newcastle coverage is at the top of their hit.
