1. Are any other parents wondering who is actually advocating for OUR back-to-school concerns with @bcedplan? School staff have unions that exist to represent their concerns on this issue with the MOE. I find myself wondering where our representatives are in this situation? #bced
2. We do have the PAC, the DPAC and BCCPAC? As a parent, this is the first time I have felt the need for #bced advocacy (priviledge, I am aware). The govt. refers to #BCCPAC as representing the parent voice & I have never questioned that, until now.
3. I am seeing some blurry lines & I can't help but wonder if they impact advocacy? Is it possible for @BCCPAC to truly advocate when one wonders if the priority is partnering w/ the Ministry or advocating for the membership? #representation #bcpoli
4. BCCPAC website "updates index" show joint statements w/ partner @bcedplan. July 1, there is a link to an MOE survey "to help inform policy development & planning for schools". This survey was shared on your FB page & I am curious HOW this was distributed further? #ParentVoice
5. On July 29, this statement was made "We are advocating for ALL parents and ALL children regardless of their situation or circumstance." If parents aren't informing your advocacy by sharing our concerns & needs, are you truly advocating for our needs? #bced #bcpoli #BCCPAC
6. How can this process can be improved? Is @BCCPAC able to effectively be a @bcedplan partner & serve their membership during these difficult times? As one of the parents feeling without options this Sept. - I am wondering when you will stand up for us? #bced #politics
