Firstly, saying that Bloomberg got three times more air time means that he got to spoke for 3 minutes.
Secondly, he's a former mayor of New York City and a former presidential candidate. And he's richer than God. Meanwhile, AOC hasn't even completed her first term in Congress. https://twitter.com/mehdirhasan/status/1296997234605789184

The fact that such a junior member of Congress was even allowed a speaking slot in the convention is an achievement. And the fact that she was given the opportunity speaks to the fact that, for good or for ill, she has a bright future in the Democratic Party.
Thirdly, could the Democratic Party be more inclusive? Sure. But it's gotten better and it keeps getting better. Kamala Harris is the VP nominee. Colin Powell endorsed Biden. Meanwhile, the one prominent black man the GOP had on their side is literally tweeting from the grave.
Fourthly, as much as Republicans have sucked in governing, one can't deny that they are REALLY good at politics. There's a reason so many state legislatures and governorships are held by Republicans. And you don't get to be that successful by being bad at politics.
With rare exceptions, Republicans are almost always on message. They are disciplined and tenacious and they never lose sight of the fact that the people they are competing against are the Democrats. Even their finger-pointing after election losses are relatively brief.
All those Republicans who used to champion small government, balanced budgets, amnesty, foreign policy leadership feel like hypocrites. But none of them is saying it because, in the end, what matters is that they win this election and worry about their conscience later.
Meanwhile, as usual, Democrats and those on the left can't help but eat their own. Not diverse enough, not representative enough, not anti-business enough, not pro-labor unions enough, not pro-environment enough. It's one purity test after another.
Here's a crazy idea. Don't take Trump's and the GOP's low poll numbers for granted, assume that you will lose, unite like your very lives depended on it, win the elections, AND THEN fight amongst yourselves to see who is the most progressivest and wokest in all the land!
