Arsenal's transfer window will likely move in 3 phases. First, a no. of signings & extensions that cover our budget (circa £50-75m). Includes players we've already seen like Willian, Cedric, Marí & extensions like Auba, Gabi & Saka & I'd include Partey/Gabriel in this too.
Then the second phase, (with some overlap) will be outgoings, which will dictate how good our window will be. Expect players like Laca (£30m), Torreira (£25m), Guendouzi (£30m), Holding/Sokratis/Chambers/Kolasinac etc. to go. Remember all prices are conservative estimates.
Then it's situational. If Laca leaves (£30m), expect a LW/CF target like Zaha. Torreira out, then Ceballos loan extension & maybe another midfielder in. Guendouzi out, Aouar in. 3 of Holding/Sok/Chambers/Mustafi/Kolasinac & expect another defender to come in.
As a self-sufficient club, we have to sell to buy. We could spend up to £200m, if we clear out everyone above & have a £70m net spend. Arteta needs backing & we need to take adv. of the COVID-market as teams are more willing to part w/ their assets due to the lack of cash.
Just a note: All prices are estimates, all the players I've named (Zaha, Aouar etc.) are just guesses based off transfer talk, I'm not claiming to be ITK. Our window depends on outgoings outside of Partey/Gabriel. Aouar likely the #1 target after that IMO.
