I’m out here for @TheTRiiBE in North Austin at the march to the home of Head of Chicago Board of Education, Dwayne Truss.
Their plan is to have a Block Party outside of Truss’ home on Waller and Hirsch
Protesters are playing a clip of Truss saying “I invite them to come to my house,” about people who want SROs out of CPS schools
They wasn’t kidding about the block party
The Police are giving a dispersal order playing a recording from the car, “No loitering, please disperse”
Demonstrators are moving over to Truss’ lawn
Destiny Harris has been leading the March. Their are performances happening in a bit
JJ is one of the last performers, then the March is headed back to La Follette park
