Then you get to turn those wonderful views into actual real life lessons. Then, when you've done that for a while (and stayed sane despite all the odds) 2/

If you want to turn those lessons into policy , become an actual senior leader. And then you get to work out if those ideas that became policy work in the real world. 3/

And then you get to criticise and/or help other people trying to do the same. Except you have to live with the consequences. Which is, admittedly, the least fun bit.
