So @peggynoonan, the Democrats' primary was awash in policy proposals and debates. You posit that the @GOP is "serious" about policy? Really? 170,000 dead. Worst economic crisis in a century. Children in cages. All policies crafted by the GOP, not just President Trump. 1/
And oh your dear President Reagan and trickle-down economics? It was as unserious as economic policies can be. It drove dollars to the rich and drove us away from any idea that we were our brothers and sisters' keepers. 2/

Democrats have been having the conversations we need to have about how to fix the economy, healthcare, education, gets us out of this pandemic. The GOP has done nothing, nothing except push for more and more tax cuts for decades now. 4/
Because the answer is the market will provide like some far-away God looking down on us in pity. You've gutted social programs, the safety net, fought tooth and nail against extending healthcare to millions. 5/
So, spare me, us your critique. You're as responsible for our current mess as the President, because you laid the groundwork for his arrival, the red carpet of racial grievances starting in the 80s with your darling President's stunts about welfare queens with Cadillacs. 6/
You don't need to tell us what the @GOP would do because they've done it. Drove this country into a ditch. Killed 170,000, refuse to offer any support to ordinary Americans, while still, still shoveling millions to their friends in a crisis. 7/
