Who first came to this landmass which we call Sri Lanka today? Aryan Sinhalese, or Dravidian Tamils?
Let me explain.
Before the 6th century BCE, only the people of Australoid race lived in this landmass. They were and still are a primitive class of people. (1/9)
Hard to believe? Go to mahiyangana and see for yourself. They are now known as veddhas - and they identify as a part of the Sinhalese community (govi vansha to be specific).

The first foreign migration to this country was from Bengal. Yes, the famous prince Bijoy Singh, (2/9)
Also known as Vijaya, was expelled from Sinhapura as a result of a political conspiracy (Bengali sources) - came to this landmass and started his new kingdom - then known as "tamraparni".
The first archaeological evidence in a Dravidian language which happens to be Tamil, (3/9)
is found in 9TH CENTURY AD. Yes. 1500 years after Prince Vijaya came to this country.
If you read mahavansa with close attention - even the Dutugamunu-ellala war was not between Tamil Hindus and Sinhalese Buddhists. The war was between the Sinhalese Kingdom and (4/9)
the foreign king Elara from the Chola kingdom. Why would Elara be called a foreigner if Tamils were the indigenous people of Sri Lanka?
and finally, let me ask a question from you -the reader.
Sinhalese people used Prakrit when they came to this country, the same language (5/9)
then Bengalis talked. Now Bengali people talk the Bengali language and we the descendants of the Bengali prince Vijaya talk Sinhalese which is entirely different. Makes sense because both languages evolved in independent spaces with different environments. (6/9)
Is there a major difference between the South Indian Tamil language and Sri Lankan Tamil language that displays even a 2500-year-old independent development? If not WHY?
Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, all have the same root. (7/9)
They developed as different languages but why did not the Sri Lankan Tamil language?
(Maybe there was no enough time🙃) (8/9)
Every Sri Lankan deserves equality. No one has to bring up and prove pseudohistory to feel like a real citizen. No hate to my Tamil brothers. I just hate pseudohistory.
We all are gonna die anyways.
kapan, bipan, sape indapan. (9/9)
