I'd need time to study Iowa's specific situation, but generally, as schools look to cut costs...I honestly think many would benefit more financially from ADDING sports, not dropping them.

that's not even a million bucks combined! Even when you throw in salaries, that's not big money

I'm sure Iowa would argue that the EUDA data is incomplete, and doesn't capture other costs, like facilities, trainers, academic support etc. And that's true.
But I don't think it's off by a factor of 10. If Iowa is going to borrow millions anyway, they COULD keep this going
