i can't remember which one of you tweeted this but a while ago one of my dysphoric mutuals tweeted something saying that they don't like being a woman and that they don't want to be a woman, and the replies were full of tras saying "so you're not a woman then you're trans/nb!!"

and that's forever going to stick in my mind. that was a key moment for me realising how stupid a lot of trans activism really is. just because someone doesn't like being something doesn't mean they aren't that something? being a woman isn't a choice you make

imagine if a bisexual person tweeted something like "i wish i wasn't bisexual i hate being bisexual" and people replied with "well maybe you're straight!!!!" like what kind of backwards logic are you pulling here.
