@liberalmarie Most Aspies prefer if you are honest with them. Check if this is true for her. If so, this is what I’d do...
Is she aware of the suicide concerns? Address it. Suicide is already higher in autist population. If transitioning is mistake, it only increases risk. 1/5 https://twitter.com/liberalmarie/status/1296770157826772993

Social anxiety is most likely caused by not getting social clues from peers. History of bullying perhaps? Explain this will not disappear with transitioning. Reading social clues will still be difficult. Perhaps even more so, because the hormones mess with the brain at first? 2/5
Express your concerns and explain why. Use FACTS and LOGIC - numbers, science etc. Get as much reference material as you can. If intelligent she likely won’t object delving deep. Watch Trans Train 1&2 (on YT). I’m 95% convinced #1 features Aspie detrans. 3/5
Assure her the worst years (11-19) are already behind. If she moves on to higher education, she will find more likeminded people, including other Aspies. And yes, find adult real life detransitioner, preferably Aspie too. 4/5
So this is what I’d probably do. You could also look into finding a coach/therapist who’s specialized in working with autistic women, who’s more critical of genderism and aware of current concerns with ROGD in Aspie teens. Good luck! 5/5
