I've been looking into cross border rail in the EU for some weeks now...
One of the issues to make it work is for timetable and ticketing data to be made available to third parties (e.g. you can find the times and book a DB train on someone else's site)
This is the overview

Data on timetable and tickets is available to third parties (countries in light green have some problems with ticket prices to third parties)
It's possible to get timetables, but no ticket data or only partial ticket data
Seems impossible to get anything

Now there are some caveats here...
is undergoing liberalisation, ought to be solved soon
and perhaps others I have examined only long distance - tickets for local trains are a headache of their own
some agencies sell RZD tickets, but I can't work out how this works

No doubt I will have made errors here... so please tell me! The basic question: does any website *other than the rail operator* list timetables and sell tickets for that railway?
I am mainly concerned with long distance rail, but tips for regional rail also v welcome!
